Intensive course for educational leave

Learn Spanish in the authentic language environment in Latin America. The one- to two-week basic course for Spanish as a foreign language in La Ceiba or Copán (Honduras) is aimed at all those who would like to visit a language course tailored to your learning needs during an educational holiday and at the same time want to get to know the Bolivian culture.

The course is offered by Spanish native speakers. All four language skills (hearing, speaking, reading and writing) are also taken into account. In addition, participants in the language course have the opportunity to take advantage of many different leisure activities to get to know the culture of the country.

Spanish is the native language of almost 400 million people and is the most learned foreign language in English.

In La Ceiba life can be fully enjoyed. Known to be the leisure and party city of Honduras, the nightlife of the port city offers everything Fiesta hungry desire. In addition, La Ceiba is the gateway to the Bahía Islands and an ideal starting point for excursions to the Pico Bonito National Park.

On the small island of Utila they have landed in the middle of tropical paradise! On the Caribbean coast, about 29 kilometres from the mainland of Honduras, this small piece of land is surrounded by a fabulous underwater world. Large coral reefs and Caribbean climate make Utila a paradise for divers – The island is even known to be one of the cheapest and most beautiful diving spots in the world! Note: Utila speaks English everywhere due to British roots. The stay in a host family is not offered here, as it is intended primarily to immerse in the Spanish language and culture.

Spanish intensive courses

Our partner school offers Spanish intensive courses at all levels for beginners to advanced students. The courses include 30 lessons/week and can be recognized as educational leave. As a rule, classes take place as private lessons, and group lessons can also be organised for several bookings.

The ideal environment

At each level, you will learn Spanish in the current cultural context, with authentic language activities, a lively exchange with fellow students and excursions to La Ceiba or Utila, as well as the opportunity to immerse yourself in the culture and language of the place in a Spanish host family. There is also an exciting offer of leisure activities every day. The ideal environment to significantly improve your Spanish knowledge in a short time!

Course material is included.
Guests of the language school are picked up free of charge from La Ceiba Airport, by boat from Utila and from any bus stop in La Ceiba. 

Accommodation
In La Ceiba we offer accommodation in a private room with bathroom, including three meals a day (except Sunday) and WIFI. The host families live near the school.
