Learn Spanish in the authentic language environment in Latin America. The one- to two-week basic course for Spanish as a foreign language in Guatemala is aimed at those who like to visit a language course tailored to your learning needs during an educational holiday and at the same time want to get to know the Bolivian culture.

The course is offered by Spanish native speakers. All four language skills (hearing, speaking, reading and writing) are also taken into account. In addition, participants in the language course have the opportunity to take advantage of many different leisure activities to get to know the culture of the country.

Spanish is the native language of almost 400 million people and is the most learned foreign language in English.

San Pedro

Stunning views over Lake Atitlan, the heart of Maya culture in the city centre with its colorful market, the lively cafe and bar scene... for many San Pedro has everything the heart desires. Our campus is surrounded by lush gardens on the banks of Lake Atitlan. During the course you can listen to the song of the birds, observe the hummingbirds while flying, hear the noise of the waves and enjoy a spectacular panorama over the lake.

San Marcos
Only 15 minutes by boat from San Pedro, but a heavenly difference... Our campus in San Marcos is located in a completely new and quiet area, within reach and yet far enough from the main roads. A cozy village with stunning views of the volcanoes, with excellent restaurants and a variety of health and spiritual offers. Learn Spanish under our traditional straw-covered Palapas and absorb the atmosphere of San Marcos!

San Juan

For many years San Juan has resisted the growing tourist stream, unlike its neighbours San Pedro and San Marcos. Your stay in San Juan will therefore be characterized by an authentic slow rhythm and an authentic way of life. San Juan is also known for its center for weaving and ceramic art, as well as for archaeology and herbal medicine. The learning environment of our beautiful gardens completes the stay.

Quetzaltenango
In “Xela”, the second big city in Guatemala, our campus is located in the heart of the old town in a quiet side street, just 5 minutes from Central Park, which combines traditional and modern ambience. In this city with its beautiful cafes, colonial architecture and the many lively markets that there is to discover, you will come to your expense.

The Spanish intensive course: Our partner school offers Spanish intensive courses at all levels for beginners to advanced students. With the personalized and interactive teaching method (1 to 2 students per teacher) Learn Spanish at your own pace and the faculty can respond to your personal wishes and needs.

Dive into the Guatemalan culture!

The offer of our local cooperation partners does not end at the language courses. The language school has a cooperation with a social initiative that supports the education of children on site. With every week language course you book, you can teach a child a week and/or one week meal. Both are urgently needed! Connect your language holiday with a meaningful task.
